CCA Leagues Information
Charlotte Curling offers a variety of leagues that are aimed at accommodating all members, no matter their skill level or interests. Each league has its own personality and format, so you are bound to find one that fits your style and schedule. So, whether you’re a recreational curler that enjoys the broomstacking just as much, if not more, than the curling on the ice or your aim is to enhance your skills to win a bonspiel, or two, there is a league for you.
There are 2 seasons of league play each year, fall and spring. League sign-ups are open in September and February each year. See league sign-up page for exact dates for registration. Fall season runs from October to beginning of January, and spring season runs from February through April. See the below brief descriptions of each league to help you determine what league fits you best.
General League Information:
Normal weekday league draws start at 6:45pm and 9pm. Other leagues have specific draw times listed below
League commissioners will assign team duties every league night to a few teams playing. Please look at your league schedule and complete your assigned duties. Everyone needs to do their part to help the league and club run smoothly. If you have a question on how to complete an assigned duty, talk to your league commissioner.
Occasionally, leagues will not play games due to a scheduled corporate event. We highly encourage all league members to sign up and help with those events.
Email Anne Pifer, league commissioner for more information.
