The Charlotte Curling Association is proud to include among its members Jamie Sinclair, an Olympic hopeful and member of USA Curling's High Performance Program.
In January 2015, Jamie joined Olympic Gold Medalist Jamie Korab at the Charlotte Curling Association's new dedicated curling facility for the weekend-long World Curling Federation's Olympic Celebration Tour. You can see some of the coverage for that event here:
The Charlotte Curling Association is trying to help Jamie Sinclair in her quest to join Team USA in PyeongChang ... and represent Charlotte and the entire Carolinas in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. If you would like to support Jamie, you can donate at the website linked below.
2017 Women of Curling Calendar
The 2017 Women of Curling calendar is now available and will feature our very own Jamie Sinclair as Miss July. Proceeds from the calendar sales will go towards charities or causes that were personally selected by the 12 featured athletes. The National (second major event on the Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling schedule) had been a men’s only invitational in the past, but this year expanded to include a women’s division. Jamie Sinclair Weekend 2016
Jamie came down to the Charlotte Curling Association for a weekend long event from April 8-10, 2016. Jamie helped instruct several Learn to Curls, worked with our Junior curlers, taught some curling strategy sessions, held a fundraiser, and just hung out with our members. It was a fun weekend.
