Fighting Hornet Five and Under

December 1-4, 2022

Charlotte Curling is pleased to announce the return of the Fighting Hornet Five and Under Spiel. This is one of the premier 5 and Under bonspiels in the Southeast. We look forward to hosting you at our dedicated facility!

Details

• Open format event. All players must meet the 5 and Under eligibility requirements outlined by the GNCC.

• 32 teams

• 3 game guarantee

• Indoor/outdoor broomstacking will take place after draws.

• There will be optional outdoor games available.

Registration

The entry fee is $420 per team.

How to Register

Outside Club Teams

• Registration for out of town teams will ONLY be accepted through the website.

• August  7, 2022 - Registration opens for the public.

• October 2, 2022 at midnight - Registration closes for the public.

Charlotte Curling Club Team Entry Rules

• Any amount of Charlotte club curlers are allowed to be on a team and register.  There will be no lottery for this bonspiel. 

Draw Schedule

The event will start Thursday, December 1, 2022 and end in the late afternoon of Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Full schedule will be available as we get closer to the event.

Meals

Meals will be provided Friday and Saturday evenings.

What is Included

• 3 game guarantee

• 2 meals (Friday and Saturday dinner)

• 2 drink tickets (redeemable for beer, wine, or fountain drink)

• Daily outdoor yard games like cornhole & bocce ball (weather permitting)
