Charlotte Curling is pleased to announce The Great Board Game Bonspiel! This new spiel has a three-game guarantee, a points based board game tournament and tons of fun for all. There is a maximum of 24 teams.

January 14, 2023 at 6pm - Registration opens for the public. Team entry fee is $420. Scroll to the bottom of this page to register.
Charlotte Curling Club Team Entry Rules
- There isn't a CCA team lottery for this bonspiel. All entire Charlotte teams will be added to the waitlist and will fill in for last-minute cancellations. CCA members can put their team on the list here: Charlotte Team Interest Sign Up
- Any team with more than 2 Charlotte Curling members is considered a club team.
- The Bonspiel Chair gives a reserved team slot to the Ice Makers. This team is allowed to participate in the bonspiel.
- Should a team register with over 2 CCA members, then the team is considered a home team and will be placed on the wait list.
- The deadline for club team entries will be March 1, 2023.
- The Bonspiel Chair reserves the right for final interpretation of these rules.
- The team entry fee is $420.
Schedule
- First Draw: The first draw of the event will start at 9am on Friday morning.
- Board Game Tournament: We will have a wide variety of board games available for fun during broomstacking & between draws all weekend, and there will be a points based board game tournament throughout the event.
- Lunch & Dinner provided on Friday & Saturday
- Saturday Evening Entertainment Included: Charlotte based improv group Fake Adults will be putting on an epic improv show for us. Don't miss it!
