HURRY!!! HARD!!! SWEEP!!!
Why are they saying these things and why are they so focused on good housekeeping skills?
Well, there is a point to all of this and it is nowhere near as easy as it looks. Don’t even get us started on whether this should really be considered a “sport”…
If you want to understand all of this better, touch a 42-pound granite rock, and even learn how to slide the rock like a pro, then check out the opportunities we have for you!
On Saturday, February 15th, from 5 to 8 PM and Sunday, February 16th, from 4 PM to 7 PM, you can check out the games with us and we’ll explain it all to you. Just come to either of the following locations:
- Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail (our current home)
- Hickory Tavern at exit 18 on I-77 (very close to our future home)
We will have club members at both locations watching the games and welcoming the curious.
Learn to Curl
So you can watch the games on your own time, but you want to see what it feels like to slide a 42-pound rock down a sheet of ice? We’ve got just the thing for you!
See our Learn to Curl page to register for one of our many opportunities to learn the sport first-hand. No experience necessary!
If you just have a question, we’re up for that too. Just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Either way, don’t let another Olympics season pass by without learning more about this sport. Be able to say you marked this one off your Bucket List! But be careful…you may just get hooked!
