Plan to come out and see what all the sweeping is about.¬†We’ll talk about the strategy of the game and our next steps for our charlotte club. Hope to see you there!

Hi, I’m interested in the curling club. I left a message on the website without a reply. I’ll show up at the Ballantyne Fox & Hound, hope to meet club members today and talk about becoming part of the club.
    Thanks, Bill Hogan

What a great event yesterday! I am SO excited about getting this club going. The ONLY thing I miss about living in Ilinois is curling, now I won’t have to miss it anymore! Seriously, I think this is going to be a great group. With Rhonda’s go-gettiveness, and the experienced players from up north, and the mixture of demographics we had yesterday, this is going to go well. I predict we have our own ice and are a nationally famous club within ten years.

We did have a great time yesterday!

Bill – I am so glad you did not give up on us and decided to come out to the F&H. Last week we received a lot of email but I am thinking some of our messages are getting stuck in limbo somewhere, even heard of some error messages happening – something for me to figure out. But yes – it was a lot of fun!

Thanks to Eric for finding us the perfect location. And thanks to TeamUSA for providing us a reason to celebrate at the end! I’ll be posting an update to the site later today for those not able to join us yesterday.

We have a great mix of people, bringing so many on and off-ice skills to the table!

Eric – I will not be surprised if your prediction comes true. I certainly thought it was possible but after yesterday, I am even more confident.

    Hey Ronda –

I sent an email in but it appear you guys may be experiencing a few issues with you email so thought I would follow-up via a post.

I recently reached out to the Triangle Curling Club about joining their Friday night league and in the process they mentioned a club in Charlotte was starting up. I played a few times with some of the folks in Raleigh and would like to be part of the club in Charlotte.

Let me know how I may help and be apart of the effort!

    Thanks,

This is an interesting blog you have her but I can’t seem to find the RSS subscribe button.

I talked to our web designer about this and it seems that the RSS feed acts differently in various browsers. I primarily use safari as my browser at home and also could not find the subscribe button. I tried it on a PC with Internet Explorer and saw a banner across the top of the page with the subscribe buttons clearly called out. If this is your case, you may want to try to use the ‘subscribe in mail’ option on the bottom left.

You are by no means the sole woman interested in curling! Heck our club president is a female!
